Jim Spearman, Vice Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Operational Officer at Rockland Technimed Ltd., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sales and business administration.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Spearman studied at Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 1993. After working as a technical sales representative for Bayer Corporation, he transitioned to a role as a sales manager at Morton Industrial Coatings in 1995, serving until 1999. He applied his skills as a manager at National Materials-Interstate Steel, where he worked in pre-paint product development until 2001. After becoming the director of service at GE Healthcare, Mr. Spearman continued his academic pursuits, earning an MBA in management from the DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management in 2003. He rose to the rank of manager in professional and personal development at GE Healthcare in 2004, and in 2007, he became the west region director of ultrasound service.
Mr. Spearman continued his career at GE Healthcare, becoming the director of imaging service in 2009 and ultimately working as the west zone commercial operations manager from 2011 to 2012. At this time, he departed from GE Healthcare and accepted a position as the vice president of service operations at Unisyn Medical Technologies, and in 2013, he leveraged his skills as the president and chief executive officer of Consensys Imaging Service Inc., serving until 2017. Since 2016, Mr. Spearman started as the chief operational officer and vice chairman of the board of directors at Rockland Techimed Ltd., where he presently serves, and from 2017 to 2018, he acted as president of Consensys Imaging Service Inc. Mr. Spearman has also devoted himself to public service, working as a police officer, patrolman, and patrol deputy for multiple police departments from 2004 to 2013. In the coming years, he plans to make Rockland Techimed Ltd. public, and to search for more successful opportunities in mergers and acquisitions.
