Ms. Loper’s tours include baggage handling, transportation, park entry fees, race entry fees, registration, and multiple dinners. In San Diego, California, Kathy Loper Events manages several races, including the San Diego Super Run, the St. Patrick’s Day 10K Run, and the End of Summer 4 Mile Run.

She attributes her success to her flexibility—she is always willing to give and learn. Growing up, she lived in a small Illinois town, where her parents were actively involved in giving back to the community. Ms. Loper lives by the lesson her father once taught her: “you will get more out of giving than you ever will out of receiving.” She strives to be an active member of her community and to give back whatever kindness has been bestowed upon her.
Ms. Loper prepared for her career at Adrian College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in physical education in 1964. She continued her academic pursuits at Eastern Washington State College, graduating with an MEd in 1968. Ms. Loper has been recognized with a Presidential Award for Fundraising from USA Track and Field, and she is also an active member of a variety of volunteer and community organizations, including Water for Children Africa, the Rady Children’s Hospital, and Stand Down, among others. In the coming years, she hopes to continue her work and maintain her active lifestyle.
