Eric Merchant, Real Estate Consultant at Trophy Properties and Auction, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of real estate.
Mr. Merchant’s mother was an immigrant from Mexico, and his grandmother came to live with his family when he was only seven years old. Although English was the primary language in his house, he learned Spanish as well due to the heavy Mexican influence in his home. Mr. Merchant worked in radio advertising sales and remembers when a woman won a bumper sticker and a hat from a radio sweepstakes, but she did not want to pick up the items. Mr. Merchant was sent to deliver them to the Century 21 office, and the woman he dropped the items off with told him that that he should take up real estate as a career. Shortly after their conversation, he decided to take the woman’s advice and pursue real estate. Mr. Merchant began his career in residential real estate in 1991 and now practices the three major sectors in real estate: commercial-industrial, recreational-agricultural, and residential.
Mr. Merchant has worked as a real estate consultant with Trophy Properties and Auction in Foristell, Montana, since 2018 and has also been a licensed realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alliance Real Estate since 1994. He holds membership with the National Association of Realtors and the Charles County Board of Realtors and has received both the Rookie of the Year and the Centurion awards from Century 21 Lifestyles. Additionally, Mr. Merchant has been awarded with the Diamond Level Seller and the Henry J. Aydte Service Award from Prudential as well as the Top Agent Award and the Five Star Agent Award from Berkshire Hathaway Alliance, where he has also been inducted to the Hall of Fame.
