Clayton Ryan, Manager at Everyday Heroes, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in veterans’ assistance.
Though Mr. Ryan himself was unable to serve in the military, he has the utmost respect for those who served. There is a high population of military veterans where he lives, and many of them need help completing tasks such as home renovations, getting a ride, and assistance to the grocery store, among other errands. Mr. Ryan felt compelled to help and so he established Everyday Heroes, Incorporated. His father and a local veteran started the conceptualized the organization in 2006 by using a patriotically decorated van to take veterans to the hospital everyday with no cost them. They branched off by doing home remodels and providing electrical wheelchairs, scooters, hearing aids, and anything that a veteran needs that they cannot get through the government.
The organization began in El Campo, Texas, but has since expanded in order to help as many people as possible who need assistance. Mr. Ryan attributes his success to the cause of his charity as 100% of all proceeds raised go directly to help veterans. Mr. Ryan plans to continue to see his charity grow. He wishes to continue to spread the word and get the message out. He also wants to have the ability to help even more veterans than he currently does. In addition to his primary pursuits, Mr. Ryan is a member of the Lions Club and the Elk’s Lodge, and he is grateful for the positive impact his work has on others.
