James Wolbrink, Real Estate Investor and the President of Wolbrink Properties, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate and business administration.
Mr. Wolbrink attended Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering in 1966 and completing additional postgraduate coursework from 1968 to 1972. As a certified association executive, he is currently the president of Wolbrink Properties, where he has worked since 1983. From 1983 to 1985, he worked as a commodities broker for Clayton Brokerage, and prior to his current post, he acted as the managing director of education and publications at the American Institute of Industrial Engineers in Norcross, Georgia, from 1971 to 1983. Mr. Wolbrink started his career as a technology writer and editor at the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory and subsequently spent several years as the editor and head of engineering publications at the Engineering Research Institute at Iowa State University.
In addition to his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Wolbrink has dedicated his time to multiple nonprofit organizations. He acted as the governor of the Georgia District of Optimist International from 1994 to 1995, and as the president of the Friends of Caroline Hospice in Beaufort, South Carolina, from 2013 to 2017. He is also a member of the Sandy Springs Optimist Club, for which he served as president from 1989 to 1990, as well as Delta Chi. Currently, he is the chairman of Ameritas and is the co-chair of fundraising for the organization’s new hospice. As a testament to his success and stature, Mr. Wolbrink has been selected for inclusion in myriad editions of Who’s Who in America.
