J. Brent Kynoch, Founder and President of Kynoch Environmental Management Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in environmental management.

With more than 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Kynoch has been the founder and president of Kynoch Environmental Management, Inc., since 1999, also serving as founder and president of Innovative Association Management, LLC, since 1996. Prior to establishing these firms, he was the co-founder and president of AAS Environmental, Inc., from 1984 to 1999. Earlier in his career, he was a sales engineer with Combustioneer in 1984, having held the same position with the Trane Air Conditioning Company since 1982.

Mr. Kynoch first pursued his higher education with Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering in 1981. A respected voice in his areas of interest, he has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Heating, and the Environmental Information Association. He has also been active with the Bethesda/Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, the University Club, the National Insulation and Abatement Contractors Association, and the American Subcontractors Association of Metro DC. He is a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Chevy Chase Recreation Association, the TSS Flying Club, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Bethesda Fire Department, Inc.

Mr. Kynoch was chair of the board of trustees of Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, and he was chair of the Young Adult Grace United Methodist Church. A panelist of the asbestos policy dialogue roundtable, he was an EPA panelist of the National Institute of Building Science Lead-Based Paint O$M Manual. He has served as an expert witness for the United States Senate inspections on asbestos in schools and buildings. He has lectured at Georgia Technical Research Institute, New York University, and Tufts University.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kynoch has been recognized for his contributions. The recipient of two President’s Awards from the Environmental Information Association, he was also given the Douglas A. Hottle President’s Award by the ASA of Metro Washington. Named an Outstanding Young Man of America, he was appointed to the Montgomery County Council for the energy conservation advisory committee. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who’s Who of US Corporate Executives, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
