With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Hahn has been retired since 1997, having been the executive director of Dunn Memorial Hospital since 1978. Prior to obtaining this position, he was an administrator with Syosset Hospital from 1976 to 1978 and an assistant administrator with Montana Deaconess Hospital from 1973 to 1976. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant administrator with United Hospitals from 1969 to 1973.
Mr. Hahn first pursued an education with Trinity University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1964. He continued his studies with the University of Minnesota, earning a Master of Health Administration in 1970. He then joined the Montana Air National Guard, serving as a clinic administrator from 1973 to 1976, and he was with the New York Air National Guard from 1976 to 1978 and the Indiana Air National Guard from 1978 to 1986. He subsequently served from the United States Air Force Reserve at Chanute Air Force Base from 1987 to 1992, attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel.
