David L. Evans, Chief Executive Officer at Center for Global Reasoning, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in corporate finance.
A graduate of at Iowa State University, Mr. Evans obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1964. He continued his studies at the University of Pennsylvania, earning an MBA degree from the Wharton School in 1966.
At the start of his career, he assumed employment at Deere & Company, where he excelled as the director of finance, and later the vice president and the general manager of John Deere Information Systems. After leaving John Deere, Mr. Evans formed Evanwood Corporation, a company that focused on consulting in international corporate finance. With this company, he has worked in China, India, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain and Italy. In the past, Mr. Evans served as vice president and chief financial officer for two Internet Service Providers.
Mr. Evans previously served as a member of the board of directors for the Data Transmission Corporation and Pearl Mutual Funds. He currently serves on the boards of John Deere Receivables Inc., Deere Receivables Corporation and John Deere Receivables LLC. Since 2015, he has contributed as the founder and chief executive officer of the Center for Global Reasoning. Additionally, Mr. Evans holds the title of CEO of Rose Creek Ridge, LLC and Evans Bros., LLC, which are both farming operations.
For his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Evans has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the Midwest, Who’s Who in the West, Who’s Who in the World, and the International Who’s Who of Intellectuals. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, foreign affairs, and travelling in his spare time.
