Kurt Busch, founder and chief executive officer of Syntiant Corp., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements and leadership in business development, business administration and electrical engineering.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Busch attended the University of California Irvine, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1993. He completed further coursework at the institution, earning an additional Bachelor of Science in biological science, and transitioned to Santa Clara University, where he received a Master of Business Administration in 1998. After garnering experience as a project design engineer at Standard Microsystems and a strategic marketing manager at both the Digital Equipment Corporation and Intel, Mr. Busch started as the president of the United States subsidiary of the Switchcore Corporation. In 2001, he transitioned to a post as the vice president of sales and marketing for TeraCross and, in 2003, he became the business development manager of Analog Devices, where he worked until 2006.

From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Busch contributed his expertise as the senior vice president and general manager of high-performance analog at Mindspeed Technologies, and he subsequently started as the chief executive officer of Lantronix. After nearly five years in this post, he became the chief executive officer of Busch Toschi LLC, a position he currently holds, and he has additionally served as the founder and chief executive officer of the Syntiant Corporation since 2017. Mr. Busch has also found success through his creative works, holding a patent for a print server for portable devices and authoring multiple articles in his field. He has been recognized in the OC 500 by the Orange County Business Journal, in addition to being named to the Henry Samueli School of Engineering Hall of Fame in 2015. Mr. Busch attributes his success to his ability to build successful teams, which complement his strengths, and in the coming years, he plans to become a major player in the artificial intelligence sector.
