Kelley A. Clowe, Financial Planner at Capital West Financial Advisors, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in investments.
Encouraged by his desire to run his own company and financially serve the citizens of his community, Mr. Clowe pursued a career in financial services. In 1961, he graduated from Central Methodist College with a Bachelor of Arts. Soon thereafter, he obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1966 before beginning his career as a research assistant with General Foods Corporation in White Plains, NY, until 1967. Consequently, Mr. Clowe briefly worked as a marketing research manager at Anheuser Busch, Inc. for two years before joining Ralson Purina Company as a marketing research manager until 1972.
Mr. Clowe further flourished as the president of Clower Mather Research Associates in Lakewood, CO, from 1972 to 1974. For six years, he served as the assistant vice president of marketing for the First National Bank of Denver before becoming active as a cashier and the senior vice president at the Dominion Banker Denver until 1981. After holding several executive positions with the Associates Corporation, North America, the People’s National Bank Washington, Bank United, and Bank of America, he has found much success as a financial planner with Capital West Financial Advisors since 2002. Additionally, Mr. Clowe has maintained his involvement with the University of Puget Sound as an instructor.
In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Clowe is very proud of earning his MBA from the Wharton School. During the 1970s, he collaborated a great deal with bank associations, which helped him established connections with many professionals. A respected voice in the industry, his written work, “The Basics of Bank Marketing Research,” was published in 1978. In an effort to remain aware of developments in the field, he maintains his affiliation with the Bank Marketing Association and the American Marketing Association. Outside of work, Mr. Clowe enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and scuba diving.
