With 65 years of professional experience, Mr. Robinson has been the president of Aim High Financial, Inc., since 2015, having been the managing partner with Santa Fe Business Solutions, LLC, since 1999 and holding a private practice since 1995. Prior to obtaining his current roles, he was managing partner of A-Action Accounting and Tax Professionals from 1994 to 1996, and he held a private practice from 1976 to 1996. Earlier in his career, he served with the United States Air Force, serving from 1955 to 1976 and attaining the rank of major.
Mr. Robinson first pursued an education with the University of Minnesota, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1955. He later graduated from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in 1972. He then joined the Thunderbird School of Global Management, earning a Master of Business Administration in international management in 1980. He has also completed an ABD in international economics with the University of Denver. He is a certified public accountant in the states of Colorado and New Mexico, and he is certified as a management consultant by Chartered Global Management Accountant.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Mr. Robinson has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Colorado Springs Estate Planning Council, the Estate Planning Council of Santa Fe, and the International Business Association of the Rockies. He has also been active with the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council, the American Marketing Association, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the American Management Association. He is a member of the National Association of Accountants, the Institute of Management Consultants, the Association of Political Risk Analysts, and the North America Society of Corporate Planning.
Throughout his career, Mr. Robinson has been recognized for his contributions. The recipient of the AF Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, he has been decorated with the Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. He has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the West, and Who’s Who in the World.
