Waleuska Lazo, President of DreamCatcher Print, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in book writing and life coaching.
Ms. Lazo’s latest business enterprise augments more than two decades of her experience and professional success. In 2011, she launched DreamCatcher Print, a book publishing venture and life coaching service that endeavors to share her own story of personal growth while helping others transform their lives through her gratitude-based online experience. DreamCatcher Print is the culmination of her passion and life’s work, and she feels it evokes her skills as an expressive writer and as an engaging entrepreneur. Through this, Ms. Lazo has published books about real-life heroes to inspire young readers and books on personal transformation to share positive inspiration. These creative works include “The Gift of Bravery: The Story of Eli Cohen” in 2019, “Confessions from a Mom to her Child” in 2019, and “The Best Worst Thing that Happened to Me” in 2018. Ms. Lazo also supports her clients with the 30-day online course, The Gratitude Experiment – FMTG. Her forthcoming book, “5 Minutes to GreatFullness” is based on this course.
Just as DreamCatcher Print is Ms. Lazo’s passion, she has exhibited her business skills through several enterprises. She co-founded Magnum Opus Development Group in 2008, which builds homes for discerning home buyers. In addition, she is the co-founder of Embanet, an e-learning provider of higher education, which she sold in 2007. Ms. Lazo attests that her success is due to pursuing a life of service to others.
Ms. Lazo was born in Nicaragua and immigrated to Canada with her family as a teenager. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in criminal justice from the University of Toronto. She has been driven by living life without regrets and by doing what is right even if it isn’t easy. She came to her calling with DreamCatcher Print after becoming very ill due to extremely difficult circumstances in her life. When she realized the effect daily gratitude had in getting better, she began to write online about her experiences. These blogs soon swept up an international readership who encouraged her to look at her experience as an opportunity to help others. Looking toward the future, Ms. Lazo endeavors to begin publishing with a large company in order for her messages of inspiration and positivity to help more people.
