Mr. Wilson began working at Northwest Imaging Forums Incorporated in 2001, starting as a facilitator. He brought to this position 14 years of experience working in the petroleum field. In 2008, his hard work and resounding positive attitude resulted in being promoted to the president of the organization. Since then, he leveraged his skills and expertise as an oversight administrative facilitator to plan and develop curriculum for the educational symposium. Northwest Imaging Forums, Inc. is dedicated to providing educational symposia for health care professionals, specializing in a range of continuing education credits courses. These continuing education credit hours can be used to renew national and state licenses that accept or require Category A CE credit. The conferences focus around CT, MR, Advanced MR, High Field MR, MR Physics, MR Angiography, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, radiology, cardiac imaging, vascular imaging, radiation oncology and sonography.
With an impressive professional history dating back more than 25 years, Mr. Wilson has always been driven by doing a good job at whatever he has been involved in. He prepared for a career in leadership by first earning a Bachelor of Science in business management and statistics from the University of Oregon in 1994. He worked in various managerial positions in both the medical and petroleum fields but ultimately felt working in the medical education industry was where his interest truly cemented. Mr. Wilson has felt that in his work with Northwest Imaging Forums, he has been able to generate a company where he could be most giving to others. He wanted to work with people who had the same goals that he had. In his capacity, he is able to gauge the trends in healthcare that allows him to help medical deficiencies in care to educate the providers. This essentially will lead to more lives being saved in the future.
Throughout his longstanding career, Mr. Wilson feels his most notable achievement to date has been going through the process and getting approved for the ACCME accreditation. It was a goal he had since the beginning of his career in the profession of facilitating meetings. In addition to being involved with the ACCME: Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, Mr. Wilson has maintained professional affiliation with the Better Business Bureau and the American Society for Neurological Radiologists. Looking toward the future, Mr. Wilson sees a bright future for the company and great expansion in medical areas. His business is currently being accepted in Australia, the United Kingdom and is looking forward to being accepted in other international forums.
