After leaving the job, he began an auto repair and body shop business, where he worked as a federally certified mechanic for three years, before selling the business. After garnering experience at a dealership, Mr. Young became acquainted with an insurance salesman and decided to try out the business for himself, where he has remained ever since. He credits Jodi Victor as a mentor throughout his life, as he taught Mr. Young how to have a strong relationship with God and convinced him that he could make more of himself than he ever thought.
For his professional excellence, Mr. Young has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. He was the recipient of a Community Service Award from the Rochester Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce in 2017.
