Edwin J. Faessler, a Management Consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in communication and conflict resolution, problem-solving and team-building.
The son of a physician, Mr. Faessler was given the model to provide service and care for others from a young age. He began his professional career as a clinical instructor in psychiatric social work at the University of Cincinnati (UC) in 1971, remaining in this role for one year before directing the therapeutic foster home project at the Children’s Home of Cincinnati from 1972 to 1975. An assistant professor at Edgecliff College from 1974 to 1978, he then returned to UC as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Social Work from 1978 to 1979. During this time, he also directed the social service unit of the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati from 1977 to 1979. Currently, Mr. Faessler is a consultant for various businesses, school systems, service organizations and hospitals in Cincinnati since 1974 and the founder of Interpersonal Communications Associates, Inc., since 1975, as well as works with groups of chief executive officers and key executives through Vistage International in California. He also owns the Brackenridge Retreat Center.
Prior to the start of his career, Mr. Faessler pursued a formal education at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1967. He then attended Ohio State University, where he attained a Master of Social Work in 1969. Additionally, he received an NLP certification. Mr. Faessler is also the author of “Family Ties, Resolving Conflict on Any Team Without War, Pain, or Loss” and served as an Eagle Scout. Notably, he was selected for inclusion in the 20th through 24th editions of Who’s Who in the Midwest.
