Mr. Duckenfield is a distinguished military graduate of the ROTC program at Princeton University. From 1986 until 2001, he served his country in several different positions, including as the second lieutenant to the Army Infantry and as the captain to the Army Advocate Generals Corps. All the while, he was simultaneously working towards getting certified to practice law. In 1989, he earned a JD from Harvard Law School. In the following years, he became certified in the states of Virginia and New York, as well as the District of Columbia.
After gaining experience as both an assistant and associate to law offices, Mr. Duckenfield was hired at the Pillsbury Shaw Pittman Law Firm as counsel. In 2001, he relocated to the Manatt Law Firm before being hired as a partner at Adorno & Yoss Law Firm LLP in 2004. He remained there until 2011, which is when he went to the Wong Fleming Law Firm LLP. His time there concluded in 2018, though, as he began exploring the business industry alongside the law. Currently, Mr. Duckenfield is acting as the chief executive officer for TDB Communications, Inc. Outside of his primary roles, he is an active member of his civic community, sitting on the board of directors for several professional organizations, including the Princeton Club of Washington and the Maryland/DC Minority Supplier Development Council. Furthermore, he shares his knowledge and experience by authoring numerous publications in professional journals.
With an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating, Mr. Duckenfield is widely respected in his industry. He has been lauded on myriad occasions, including being listed as a Top Rated Lawyer in International Law & International Trade by both American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell.
