Arnold M. Kriegler, retired Management Consultant at AMK Associates, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in consulting.
Mr. Kriegler became involved in his profession because he went to a high school that taught a trade and he liked drafting. When he was in high school and college, he worked part-time as a chief draftsman for Ballantyne Electronics from 1948 to 1955, which was in the manufacturing business. His exposure early on in manufacturing led him to work at Collins Radio, where he held various positions from 1957 to 1976. Prior to his career, Mr. Kriegler earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering and business administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha. After his education, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1955, becoming a captain, remaining until 1957.
The highlight of Mr. Kriegler’s career was serving as the caregiver for two wives with incurable illnesses. He was a caregiver for his first wife, Joan Godsey, from 1990-1997, and for his second wife, Joan Willey from 2003-2010. He established his consulting career because he discovered a methodology for helping companies use delivery time as a competitive weapon. After his time with Collins Radio, Mr. Kriegler joined Rockwell International in 1976 remaining until 1988. He started out as a director of manufacturing electronics operations and then moved on to director of production operations. In 1988, he joined AMK Associates as a management consultant and remained in that role until his retirement. As a testament to his success, Mr. Kriegler was named Executive of the Year by United Way in 1973. He is also listed in numerous editions of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
