Backed by a BS in agriculture from the Oklahoma State University, as well as coursework completion for a MS in finance from the University of Texas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management, Mr. Cole has celebrated 30 years of his professional career in the world of insurance and agriculture. Since 2019, he has served as an agent and agency principal with Cole Agency Farmers Insurance. With a lifelong interest in and commitment to customer service, through his various former roles in education, research and development, banking, and business development, Mr. Cole is able to uniquely assist in delivering an impeccable same level of competence and satisfaction to his clients. To add to his repertoire, Mr. Cole is the former six-year owner of a John Deere dealership and was manager of farms and ranches for the Fort Worth National Bank for six years.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Cole served the Farmers Cooperative Association of Van Buren as director of business development in 2018 and 2019, and as a manger from 2015 to 2018. With his interest and involvement in professional agriculture including chemicals, livestock, animal handling, equipment, and general knowledge, Mr. Cole took on a consultant and sales role with Crop Production Services in 2014, and he was a location manager for Mid-West Fertilizer, Inc in 2013. His grandfather managed a very large family heritage and estate, and graduated with an Associate of Business degree from Clarendon College in 1903 with very little formal education prior. Mr. Cole attributes the success of his career to these two family influences, as well as hard work, persistence and the grace of God.
Mr. Cole holds membership with the Professional Insurance Agent Association, the National Federation of Independent Business Men and the Catoosa Chamber of Commerce. He is a former board member of the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants, and remains an active volunteer with Almighty Sports, Upward Sports and his local church. In five years’ time, Mr. Cole would like to get the insurance business on a firm growth pattern, and at some point turn the business over to his son. Additionally, he looks forward to doing some personal traveling with his family.
