Joel H. Bennett, Engineering and Construction Executive, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership.

In his youth, Mr. Bennett was always curious about architecture and engineering. His parents encouraged him to explore the fields that interested him, which led him to enroll at the University of Southern California. There, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He further pursued his education in 1960 by obtaining a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles. In 1962, he returned to the University of Southern California and acquired a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering.

Some of Mr. Bennett’s earliest roles were with C. F. Braun & Co. There, he began his career as a chemical process engineer and additionally worked with business development. He went on to carry out a multitude of professional positions, including senior vice president of Santa Fe Braun Inc., president of Harland Bartholomew & Associates, and president of Alchemix Corp. Most recently, Mr. Bennett served as the board director of the PBSJ Corp. from 2009 until 2010. In recognition of his numerous professional accomplishments, he is featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in the West.
