Aditi Goel, Founder and Executive Director at P16 Partners, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education.
As a young adult, Ms. Goel found a passion for teaching and working with children who had limited access to educational resources. In 2001, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley. Later, in 2004, she furthered her education once more by earning a Master of Education in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. After gaining experience as an educator with Teach for America, Ms. Goel continued to explore academia with positions at the Northwestern University School of Education and Social Policy and WestEd. In 2014, she became the founding program manager at Code Next with Google. Ms. Goel remained there until 2016, which is when she took on her current position as founder and executive director at P16 Partners.
Ms. Goel has additionally found success as an author. Some of her most notable publications are, “Successful Magnet High Schools,” “Charter High Schools: Closing the Achievement Gap” and “Characteristics of Arizona School Districts in Improvement,” which is her most recent work. In light of her myriad accomplishments, Ms. Goel earned the Community Impact Award from the Silicon Valley Business Journal. She attributes much of her success to her prior work as a teacher in underserved communities, as it allowed her to build a reputation and gain the necessary experience to succeed. Looking toward the future, Ms. Goel hopes to continue helping social impact and nonprofit leaders, as well as see her practice grow throughout the state of California.
