Helen Costantino Fioratti, President at L’Antiquaire and the Connoisseur, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of antiques.
Growing up, Ms. Fioratti became inspired to pursue a career in the arts by her mother, Ruth, who was the first female fine arts dealer in antiques in the United States. Currently, Ms. Fioratti serves as the president of L’Antiquaire and the Connoisseur Incorporated, which was the result of a merger between the Connoisseur and her company, L’Antiquaire. Over the years, she has found great success and recognition, leading her to be featured in an array of articles for Food & Wine, the New York Times and Cooking Magazine.
Before she was married, she had several “one man” painting exhibitions in New York City, selling to the Duchess of Windsor, Greta Garbo and Stavros Niarchos sold-out shows. Prior to the start of her career, Ms. Fioratti earned a Bachelor of Science from New York University and the Parsons School of Design. To remain aware of changes in the field, she holds membership with the Accademia Italiana della Cucina and AADLA, the Art and Antique Dealers League of America, for which she is a board member.
Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Fioratti has authored a plethora of published works, including “How to Know French Antiques,” “Playing Games,” “Please Be Seated,” “Illuminating Their World” and “Tempting Pandora.”
With many achievements to her credit, Ms. Fioratti is particularly proud of completing interior design work for the royal family of Kuwait, as well as being commissioned to author a book on Italian furniture titled “Il Mobile Italiano.” For her professional achievements, Ms. Fioratti accepted the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who of American Women. Likewise, she was honored in the Accademia Italiana della Cucina for 25 years. In the coming years, Ms. Fioratti intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career.
