Matthew Kemnitz, President of Leak Location Services, Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mechanical engineering.
With nearly two decades of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Kemnitz currently holds the title of president of Leak Location Services, Inc. Prior to this prestigious appointment, he served the role of the operations officer and project engineer with the aforementioned company until 2017. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kemnitz contributed to Mycoskie McInnis Associates, having previously worked as a quoting engineer for TLB International from 2004 to 2005.
As an employee of Leak Location Services, Mr. Kemnitz has worked on over 100 surveying project sites, covering more than 25 million square feet of geomembrane liner. Additionally, he has performed several surveys throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, South America, and the Far East. In the coming years, Mr. Kemnitz would like to have more company locations available internationally, so he can reach his clients faster than he currently does.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, Mr. Kemnitz received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2002. Soon thereafter, he completed graduate coursework toward a Master of Science in civil engineering at the aforementioned university. An expert in the field, Mr. Kemnitz holds several certifications, including an engineer-in-training certification through the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and a certification in occupational safety and health.
Civically, Mr. Kemnitz has devoted his time to his local Habitat for Humanity where he assists in building homes for those in need. To remain aware of developments in his field, he has been an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Likewise, Mr. Kemnitz has also maintained his involvement as a board member of the American Society for Testing and Materials.
