Sandra Smith Gulledge, President at Crimson Horse Entertainment & Publishing Company, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in publishing.
Having accrued more than 40 years of inimitable professional experience, Ms. Gulledge holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism from 1971 and a Master of Arts from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communication from 1986. Since 2000, she has notably served as president of the Crimson Horse Entertainment & Publishing Company in Texas, an on-demand publishing house, which is the publisher of the 2002 work, “With Abandoned on Bataan: One Man’s Story of Survival,” by Oliver Red Allen. A self-described behind the scenes mover and shaker, Ms. Gulledge is also the founder of the Global Organization of Democracies, treasurer for the Northwestern University Club of San Antonio and co-chair of the Venture County Commission for Women.
Ms. Gulledge commenced her career in California in 1971 as a columnist for the Camarillo Daily News, as well as an editor for the Fillmore Herald in 1976. She went on to serve as a public information officer for Oxnard Union High School District and Ventura County Community College before joining the Murphy Organization as a public relations director and senior administrator of customer communications in the 1980s. Upon moving to Texas, she was editor of Forum and Solutions GTE from 1984 to 1993 and a marketing specialist for USAA Alliance Services from 1995 to 1999. Finding great success in her career, Ms. Gulledge has received Bronze and Silver Quill Merit Awards from the International Association of Business Communicator of Dallas and a Best of Texas Award from the Public Relations Society of Texas. Additionally, she holds Katie Awards from the Press Club of Dallas and a John Swett Award from the California Teachers Association, among others. To attest to her legacy, Ms. Gulledge can also be found in various editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who In Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, Who’s Who in the West, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women.
