Diana A. Rivera Molina, Vascular Territory Manager at Becton Dickinson, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical sales.
At the age of four, Ms. Molina informed her family that she wanted to work in the medical industry. She never changed her mind and proceeded to earn a formal education at the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. In 1994, she acquired a Bachelor of Science in biology. Later, in 2005, she returned to school and obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She began her career as a medical representative for GlaxoSmithKline. Remaining there until 1997, she went on to accept a position as a senior sales marketing executive with Clendo Reference Labs. There, she demonstrated excellence until 2005. She then became a Caribbean sales manager with Medrad. Currently, Ms. Molina is upholding the title of vascular territory manager at Becton Dickinson.
In light of her myriad accomplishments, Ms. Molina has been generously lauded throughout her career. In 2003 and 2004, she was named as the Sales Executive of the Year by the Quendell Reference Lab, which followed up the initial Entrepreneurial Performance Awards given to her by the laboratory in 1999 and 2001. More recently, in 2019, Ms. Molina earned first place in Vascular Care. Further, her region was honored as the Vascular Region of the Year in 2018. She attributes much of her success to her passion for excellence, as well as her desire for perfection.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Molina enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach. She believes that the key elements to professional success are leadership, positive self-esteem, and hard work. Looking toward the future, she hopes to be a sales manager and take part in strategic groups in the sales department at her current place of work. Ms. Molina’s motto is, “Live day by day and always see the good.”
