Naturally drawn to the field of project management, Mr. Petersen has successfully performed project management for a number of Fortune 500 companies throughout his career. Prior to his current endeavor, he has been an adjunct professor at Highline College, principal of Tactical Health Information Systems, senior site manager of SAIC and senior technical consultant at Bridge Consulting Group. Additionally, he has served in technical roles for Kaiser Permanente, Excell Data, SolutionsIQ, T-Mobile, Montgomery Ryland, Inc. and Arthur Young & Co. Upon his past entrepreneurial ventures, he owned Voice Transcription and Professional Services Group.

Looking ahead, Mr. Petersen hopes to expand his company and build more services for professionals. In 2021, his upcoming book, “Transforming Project Management: An Essential Paradigm for Turning Your Strategic Planning into Action” will be published by McGraw Hill. The book is filled with his industry-altering methodology that enables project management to successfully deliver strategic planning. Likewise to his professional success, Mr. Petersen has designed and developed the Ultimate PM Power Tool, which enforces the tenets of his best practices, leading to much greater accuracy in the creation of budgets and schedules. His revolutionary monitoring techniques show precisely how projects, strategic objectives and strategic plans are performing against budget and schedule, as well as their ever-changing financial viability. Notably, Mr. Petersen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music, a Bachelor of Arts in business and a Master of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. Certified as a Scrum Manager and Project Management Professional, he also holds Scrum Product Owner and Security+ certifications.
