Kelley Messinger, President at Studebaker Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
After earning an Associate of Arts in counseling psychology, Mr. Messinger earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of East Berlin in 1978. Following his graduation, he began working in sales for a bike company, which he initially intended to only be a part-time position. However, as he became familiar with the industry, he found a multitude of parallels between sales and psychology. Taking a chance, Mr. Messinger accepted the position of the president of Studebaker Corporation in 1993. In the years since then, he has never regretted his choice.
Outside of his business ventures, Mr. Messinger has found success as an author. He recently published his first book, “Walls of Secrecy,” which is a history of the Washington State Penitentiary between 1971 and 1981. Reflecting on his career thus far, he attributes his success to his strong work ethic and his desire to always do his best. In the coming years, Mr. Messinger plans to maintain his health and continue to spend time with his grandchildren.
