Distinguished for her evaluating and negotiating skills, Ms. Ratliff serves as the president of CCM Consulting Associates, LLC in Georgia. Additionally, she has served as a civil mediator and arbitrator for Henning Mediation & Arbitration Service since the start of 2020 and as a civil and domestic mediator, arbitrator, case evaluator and consultant for Capital City Mediations since 2015. Throughout her career, between 1991 and 2016, Ms. Ratliff has also contributed to such organizations as Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, CNA and TIG Insurance Companies, Interstate Insurance and Coregis Insurance Group. Backed by a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1988, Ms. Ratliff also serves as the co-founder of the Savannah State University and North Carolina Central University I.M.P.A.C.T. Institutes, Bethune-Cookman University P.R.O.U.D. Institute and the Florida A&M University Insurance Legacy Institute.
Ms. Ratliff attributes her career success to the respect she shows to both parties as a mediator. Notably, she has received numerous service awards from the Thurgood Marshall University School of Law, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Georgia State University, National Bar Association, Howard University School of Law and Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. In addition, Ms. Ratliff has also accepted awards from former President Barack Obama and Congressman Danny K. Davis, as well as the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and Atlanta Association of Insurance Professionals. Looking back, Ms. Ratliff is especially proud of her service to the National Bar Association as secretary of the alternative dispute resolution section and co-chair of the diversity committee. She is also an author and speaker, having reached a wide scope of people and hopes to continue to positively influence the lives of her clients. In five years’ time, Ms. Ratliff aims to have more mediators and arbitrators under her business umbrella, as well as expand her business and hit the one million dollar mark.
