Frederick C. Nuesch, Editor for Athletic Brochures at United States Olympic Festival, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sports writing.

In 1960, Mr. Nuesch earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Henderson State University. Deciding to further his education, he attended the University of Missouri where he attained a Master’s degree in journalism in 1962. That same year, he began his career as a sports editor at Malvern Daily. In the years that followed, Mr. Nuesch worked with Paris News, the NCAA Football Playoffs, the Houston Sports Festival and the United States Olympic Festival. At the latter, he has served as the editor for athletic brochures since 1968. He remains in this role today, alongside his position as the chairman of the parish for the St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Nuesch served as a sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1963 until 1969. He maintains affiliation with a number of professional organizations, including the Sports Information Directors Association, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the College Sports Information Directors of America, for which he has served as the secretary since 1979. As a testament to his professional success, Mr. Nuesch is featured in several editions of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Joan.
