Michael K. Chavez, Vice President of Physician Development at Bendcare, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medical services.
Mr. Chavez became involved in his profession due to his lifelong passion for helping people. Taking ahold of his professional career, he has founded and co-founded multiple companies, most of which have been within the healthcare sector, including a medical practice consulting company. Since 2015, he has served as the vice president of physician development at Bendcare in Boca Raton, Florida, America’s largest and fastest-growing rheumatology supergroup. With a mission to redefine and redesign the standard of rheumatologic care through new models that define quality and value, Mr. Chavez is responsible for bringing in new physicians into the network and running the national teams.
Prior to his current role, in 2014 and 2015, Mr. Chavez was the co-founder and managing partner of MitchMED, as well as the founder and chief executive officer of Rise Consulting. He gained earlier experience as the physician account manager and sales trainer of Immuno Laboratories from 2011 to 2014. Before his medical pursuits, Mr. Chavez was the sales manager and trainer for City Furniture from 2006 to 2009. In addition, he served as the founder and chief executive officer of the Window Guys from 1999 to 2006 and as a promotional model for Millennium Model Management from 1997 to 2006.
Notably, Mr. Chavez was the recipient of the International Forum for Advancements in Healthcare Top 100 Leaders in Healthcare Award in 2020, which he cites as the highlight of his career. Likewise, he has been featured in 7:47 Conversations LinkedIn Live Show. Mr. Chavez is also the author of “Greatfull: How to Turn Adversity into Advantage,” which will be released in 2021. By blending his knowledge and experience with a passion for tenacious self-improvement, health, physical fitness, and business, he attributes his career success simply to gratitude. Mr. Chavez attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for business management from 1999 to 2001, along with the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Looking toward the future, Mr. Chavez hopes to spearhead a Ted Talk and speak publicly on his book, He plans to continue working and living by his motto, “I’ve never met a stranger.” In his free time, he enjoys reading.
