Backed by a Bachelor of Arts in economics, business, and African studies from Lafayette College from 2013, Mr. Gould got started in his professional career through the guidance of a job recruiter. For the first two years of his career, he worked for Enterprise Rent a car where he mastered their management trainee program in only 8 months. From there he was promoted to assistant manager in which he began his management career. After 2 years with Enterprise, Rodney changed industries and for the next 2 and a half years of his career, he served Fritos as an area sales and distribution manager. In this role, he was named Most Valuable Player for Our Zone. Having strived in sales management in the initial portion of his career, he went on to work in the same role for Schwan’s Company, where he is continuing to excel. Mr. Gould specializes in customer service and employee development, while also taking on responsibilities to coordinate routes, analyze financial data and train employees.
Presently, Mr. Gould maintains affiliation with Kappa Alpha Phi Inc. and PrymeTime Youth Basketball, in which he serves as president. Dedicated to his local community, as well as his profession, he volunteers his time to coach the Holy Trinity Middle School basketball team and is the head Freshman Football coach at Gonzaga College High School. Mr. Gould attributes his vast success to his hard work, dedication, and leadership in leading his colleagues the correct way. He cites that every decision he has made has been with three things in mind: the customer, the company and the employees. In five years’ time, he plans to still be working with the Schwan’s Company, but possibly in a general manager role. Mr. Gould also plans to continue living and working by his motto: “Dare to be different, destined to be great.”
