Having accrued more than 60 years of professional experience in realty, Mr. Koproski commenced his career as a commercial and industrial broker for S.H. Silberman, Inc. in 1960. Since 1973, he has excelled as the owner, chief executive officer and commercial and industrial broker at Al Koproski Realty in Stamford, Connecticut. Backed by a Bachelor of Science in marketing and finance from Trine University from 1959, he served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957, which allowed him to further his education under the GI Bill. Now a licensed real estate broker in the states of New York and Connecticut, Mr. Koproski has served as a trustee to the Kosciuszko Foundation since 2010 and as a member of the South End Revitalization Committee since 1996. Likewise, he was the founder of the American Center for Polish Culture, Inc. in Washington D.C., which he maintained for 20 years, beginning in 1990.

A civic leader for many years, Mr. Koproski’s volunteer efforts have centered primarily on supporting his local community and church activities. He held various roles with Holy Name of Jesus Church, the American Center of Polish Culture, the Polish Slavic Information Center and the Polish American Culture Society, among other local organizations. For his contributions to sports, he was honored with the Al Koproski Little League Baseball Stadium, Dzialdowo, Poland. Having earned numerous accolades, Mr. Koproski received a Medal from the President of Poland an Honorary Award from the Polish Government in 2012, as well as an Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 1998. He has also taken home awards from the Stamford Knights of Columbus Council, Stamford Historical Society, Polish Historical Association and more. To attest to his legacy, Mr. Koproski can also be found in editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who In Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World.
