Jason Ellis, Consultant, General Contractor, Realtor, and Negotiator at Sure-Fire Contracting Inc., Chase Holdings, and Jason Ellis Realtor, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction.

Mr. Ellis started general contracting at a young age with his father’s HVAC company. This early experience introduced him to the field, which quickly became a passion for him in the years that followed. After graduating from high school, Mr. Ellis completed engineering coursework at Kansas State College. However, he never completed his studies because he decided to begin working with a local painting company in 1986. Gaining an abundance of necessary experience in this role, Mr. Ellis relocated to a general contracting company in 1993. By 2001, he decided to venture out on his own. That year, he opened Jason Ellis Realtor alongside taking on work with Sure-Fire Contracting Inc. and Chase Holdings. Today, Mr. Ellis continues to excel in his roles as a realtor, negotiator, general contractor and consultant with the aforementioned businesses.

Outside of his primary roles, Mr. Ellis is a board member for the Johnson County Co-Administration Board and the ethics committee for KCARR Advocacy for Home Buyers. Likewise, he is the founder of the Kansas City Inner-City Foundation. Mr. Ellis is passionate about giving people a second chance, which inspires him to hire homeless individuals and provide them with a place to stay while they work for him. He believes happiness is nothing without someone with whom to share it. Reflecting on his accomplishments, Mr. Ellis credits his hard-working nature, as he never gave up on achieving his dreams.

When Mr. Ellis is not working, he loves spending time with his wife, Emily, and their two children, Chase and Lynox. He considers his family to be his greatest achievement, both personally and professionally. His son is hoping to become a contractual attorney and an actor and his daughter has made the best of her Type-1 Diabetes diagnoses by volunteering with organizations working to aid individuals fighting the disease. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ellis is hoping to continue on his current path. However, he is considering the possibility of slowing down in physical construction, as he enjoys helping others much more.
