Denise McCall, Founder, Executive Director and Curator at McCall Studio Gallery, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in graphic design.
Hailing from an artistic family, Ms. McCall’s unique talents were prevalent from a young age. As she flourished in her abilities, she desired to utilize her strengths in graphic design for the greater good. In 1988, she spearheaded McCall Studio Gallery, Divisions of DMVisual, a private collection of fine diverse visual arts services and products, as founder, executive director and curator in Historic Downtown Manassas, Virginia. Likewise, she works to aid high-profile community clientele including national nonprofits, education/government, healthcare, association and businesses with multimedia strategic image, execution and effective communication solutions. In addition to her primary role, Ms. McCall has served as the public relations ambassador, business mentor and charter-founding member of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce since 2011.
Finding great success in her profession, Ms. McCall has been the recipient of a Telly Award and Communicator Award from the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA) in New York City in 2018, and most recently in 2020. In addition, she is the recipient of thirteen American Advertising Federation (AAF) ®ADDYs, Art Directors Club (ADA) Awards; ten client National Communication Excellence Awards, CEO Awards for helping clients exceed yearly goals. She was also selected by INC. NYC 2013 and served as an adjunct professor for visual communications in the Metro DC Area. Featured in Prince William Living Magazine, among other local and national media, she attributes her success to her motivation to continue to grow and be of service to others. To remain abreast of her industry, Ms. McCall maintains affiliation with the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the American Advertising Federation and the Prince William Arts Council. In the coming years, she would like to showcase more artists in her community room, as well as help more organizations with branding and communications needs. Ms. McCall received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in 1989. She has also studied at the Moore College of Art and Design, the Rhode Island School of Design and the Harvard Business School.
