Julie A. Bonacio, Owner at Julie & Co. Realty, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in real estate.
Backed by an Associate of Arts from Katharine Gibbs College in Massachusetts from 1989, Ms. Bonacio got her start answering the phones for her father’s mobile home manufacturing company. Shortly thereafter, she was afforded an opportunity in sales through a client, which blossomed into an illustrious path for her. Ms. Bonacio found she enjoyed helping clients work through major life decisions, leading her to commence a professional career in the real estate industry in 1999. Progressing in her work, she has excelled as the owner of Julie & Co. Realty since 2015, as well as the vice president of Bonacio Construction since 2005.
Finding great success in her career, Ms. Bonacio has been honored as a Woman of Influence by the Capitol District and named to the 40 Under 40. In addition, she has taken home an Equine Advocates Award, Top Producer Real Estate Award, Downtown Development Award and Lion’s Club Award. Ms. Bonacio attributes her vast success to her hard work, as she understands that she is guiding people to making one of the biggest investments of their lives. She also credits it to always looking on the bright side, finding solutions to problems and listening. She adds that attitude is everything and is dedicated to treating clients equally from the moment she meets them.
Outside of her primary endeavors, Ms. Bonacio has been involved with the Saratoga Hospital since 2002, having been a co-chair since 2016. She has also been a board member at Sponsor a Scholar, as well as involved with Equestrian Advocates, the Kara Foundation, the Franklin Community Center and the Saratoga Arts Center. In the coming years, Ms. Bonacio plans to have more projects on the horizon. She also hopes to grow her brokerage to a premiere business through the hiring of additional real estate agents. Her advice to those looking to spearhead a career as an entrepreneur is to never give up, reach for the stars, set goals, check off boxes, and never let someone tell you “no.”
