After graduating from high school, Mr. Boothman attended the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. There, he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management, going on to become the purchasing agent at the New England Gas Company in 1992. He remained in this role for 10 years. By 1996, he relocated to Narragansett Financial Corporation, where he continues to excel as a corporator today. Alongside this role, Mr. Boothman demonstrates success in his more recent role as a purchasing agent for National Lumber.
Throughout his career, Mr. Boothman has maintained affiliation with the Rotary Club and the Red Sox Club. He attributes his success to consistently making smart decisions, as well as his father’s influence. Mr. Boothman was additionally inspired by his grandparents. Further, he considers the highlight of his career to be his experience taking a private tour of the White House during Bill Clinton’s presidency. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. Mr. Boothman and his wife, Paula, share three children. He additionally has a grandchild on the way, whom he is incredibly excited to meet.
