Renee Sue Edelman, Senior Vice President at Edelman, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of communications.
At the start of her illustrious career, Ms. Edelman excelled as a reporter for Central Jersey Home News from 1981 to 1985. Soon thereafter, she began her tenure with Edelman where she held the positions of an account executive, account supervisor and vice president of technology between 1985 and 1993. For 25 years, she proudly served as the senior vice president of technology, as well as the executive vice president of new media with the company. Today, Ms. Edelman flourishes as the senior vice president of global human resources, a title she has held since 2018.
In her current post, Ms. Edelman is responsible for diversity recruiting. This involves hiring a variety of candidates with diverse backgrounds to work at Edelman. She also works alongside the human resources department to develop and organize educational events for the company. Likewise, she contributes as a media relations strategist on selective accounts. With several highlights to account for, Ms. Edelman is most proud of being honored by the Children’s Museum of Manhattan for the multi-generational contribution to philanthropy.
A graduate of Yale University, Ms. Edelman earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1977. Three years later, she secured a Master of Science in journalism from Columbia University. Ms. Edelman attributes her success to having mentors like her father, brother, Lisa Sepulveda and several others throughout her career. In the coming years, she would like to publish a book that details her mother’s contributions to the Edelman Company.
