W. Thomas “Tom” Blackall, Minister & Chaplain at Disciples of Christ Ministry has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in ministry.
For more than 25 years, Mr. Blackall has contributed to the Disciples of Christ Ministry as a minister. In this role, he is responsible for leading numerous congregations in prayer and religious teachings and presiding over baptisms, communions, confirmations and weddings, as well as offering continuous divine guidance to the public. Prior to this appointment, he pursued a career at DuPont where he served as a mechanical engineer for 19 years.
Before embarking on his professional endeavors, Mr. Blackall served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, for which he received recognition with the Quilt of Armor. Soon thereafter, he attended Pennsylvania State University and obtained an Associate of Science. Moreover, he concluded his academic efforts with a degree in mechanical engineering and business management from Columbia Pacific University. Mr. Blackall attributes his success to his parents, especially the influence of his father. He credits his father’s humbleness and desire to succeed as the driving for his own success in life. In the coming years, Mr. Blackall plans to continue spreading the Word of God through his house of worship.
