Matthew L. Peery, Chief Executive Officer, President, Owner at Titan Cabinetry and Millwork, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in carpentry.
Upon excelling at a carpentry apprenticeship, Mr. Peery discovered his affinity for the field in his teenage years. His instructor proudly taught him the old way of construction and he loved the satisfaction of viewing the final product of his efforts. Desiring to experience this feeling for the rest of his career, Mr. Peery spearheaded Titan Cabinetry in Arizona, which excelled in serving its community for 20 years. In 2019, he opened Titan Cabinetry and Millwork in Utah, in which he served as the owner, chief executive officer and president. Specializing in millwork and cabinetry, Mr. Peery also offers flooring, countertops and custom work from fabrication to installation.
Mr. Peery received an Associate of Arts in enterprise management from Salt Lake Community College in 1994. Four years later, in 1998, he achieved a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Utah. Through his education, he was able to learn the fundamentals of running a business, including how to grow a business. Mr. Peery currently has 50 employees working for the company and aims to double that number in five years’ time. Alongside his primary role, he is active in his community as a volunteer through his church and a donor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Goodwill. He is also a member of the NSIB.
Looking ahead, Mr. Peery envisions Titan Cabinetry and Millwork being the largest installation company west of the Mississippi River. He hopes to properly prepare the business to pass onto one of his eight children, who he cites as the greatest accomplishments of his life. His children include Tryston, Jake, Brody, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Haven, Chase and Ryker. With this sentiment, Mr. Peery adds that his family is the most important thing to him and it is important to find a balance of work and family life. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, skiing and snowboarding.
