Mr. Mitchell began buying and selling houses as a sophomore in college. He quickly realized, “Why rent, when you can own?” Along with encouragement from an older realtor, Wesley Mazurek, he has continued to flourish in the real estate industry for more than 15 years. Matriculating at Western Michigan University, he received a Bachelor of Arts in business communication in 2005 and a Bachelor of Arts in business commerce in 2015. Mr. Mitchell has been a licensed realtor since 2005 and has excelled in his role as a team lead of TheSunday Dinner Realty Partners/Keller Williams Rivertown since 2019. Dedicated to bettering society through community events, the company gives 10 percent of its commission back to the community. Over the last six years, they have donated more than $100,000 and worked with more than 40 different nonprofit mission trips.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Mitchell served as a team lead for RE/MAX of Grand Rapids and the Sunday Dinner Group in 2018 and 2019. He had also thrived as a group facilitator, director of recruiting and realtor for the BRYANT Real Estate Group from 2014 to 2016 and a real estate sales executive, director of recruiting and realtor for the Brooks Real Estate Group in 2013 and 2014. In addition, Mr. Mitchell was a sales representative for 1st Advantage Realty from 2010 to 2013, a sales associate for Exit Real Estate from 2005 to 2010 and a property acquisition and project manager for Acacia Companies LLC from 2003 to 2013. Reflecting on his career, he attributes his success to Jesus and his parents. In five years’ time, Mr. Mitchell would like to develop more like-minded leaders in order to better develop his community, grow in the real estate industry and work with national nonprofit organizations.
