After working for several decades for a variety of insurance companies, such as State Farm, Ms. Johnson-Lundquist was approached by a certified financial planner and two insurance agents who desired to open their own independent practice. Feeling the need for agents to advise others in the preparation of risk management, Ms. Johnson-Lundquist was invited to become a partner of the enterprise. In 2005, she became a partner and founding member of IEA Wealth Management, LLC, in which she advises and protects clients with the proper insurance policies. IEA Wealth Management has two offices in the Des Moines area of Iowa.
Ms. Johnson-Lundquist is a certified agent to market Medicare plans and supplements, is federally certified on the marketplace for individual health insurance and is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow. Maintaining affiliation with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the American Business Women Association, the Des Moines Area Chamber of Commerce and the Iowa City Association, for whom she served as president, Ms. Johnson-Lundquist was notably named an Iowa City Advisor of the Year from 1999 to 2000. Additionally recognized as a Des Moines Advisor of the Year, she also earned an Earnest Craig Award from the Life Underwriters Training Council in 2004. Looking toward the future, she intends to build up IEA Wealth Management and continue working in management and advisory positions until her retirement. She has thoroughly enjoyed helping her clients and working within her practice, and she attributes her success to her sincerity, her interest in others’ needs and her aptitude for performing excellently in her work.
