Gary L. Singleterry, Investment Director at GAM USA, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in investment banking.
Supported by more than 45 years of experience in investment banking, Mr. Singleterry has excelled as the investment director for GAM USA in New York since 2014. Prior to commencing his current role, he served as chief executive officer of Singleterry Mansley Asset Management Company from 2009 to 2014, president of Singleterry & Company from 1991 to 2009 and managing director of Prudential-Bache Securities from 1985 to 1991. Earlier in his career, he was the managing director of Dean Witter Reynolds from 1983 to 1985, vice president of Thomson, McKinnon & Company from 1981 to 1982 and associate of Wm Sword & Company from 1979 to 1980. He commenced his career in 1974 as an associate with Morgan Stanley & Company, holding the position for five years.
Drawing upon a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in 1970 and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University in 1974, Mr. Singleterry has also lent his time civically to the FNMA National Advisory Council in 1991 and 1992 and has sat as chairman of the board of trustees of the Plainfield Christian Science Church since 2009. Initially attracted to the industry of investment banking from his college years, he was first interested in delving into the business sector. However, over the course of many years, he discovered that he enjoyed investment banking immensely, which afforded him greater opportunities.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Singleterry has been highlighted in several Who’s Who publications. He was selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East and Who’s Who in the World. Married to his wife Mary Beth, he has two children, Douglas and Laura, and three grandchildren.
