Nana A. Johnson, EdD, Chief Executive Officer and President at Nana & Co. Gas Oil LLC and Reverend at Voice of Hope Outreach Ministry Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in ministry.
At the age of 15 in Ghana, Dr. Johnson suffered from a chronic stomach illness and could not find the proper medical help to cure him. Turning to faith, he was brought to a Youth for Christ meeting in the country, in which the minister and evangelist prayed for him, miraculously healing his ailments. Before they prayed for him, the minister asked Dr. Johnson what he would do if God healed him, to which he replied, “In serving, preaching, and telling people how great He is.” From there, he joined the youth group and became heavily involved in meetings, leadership and Bible studies. In the early 1980s, Dr. Johnson achieved a Bachelor of Science from Central Bible College, leading him to become a pastor. He is also backed by a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy from Nigeria, along with a Doctor of Philosophy from the Logos Theological Graduate School.
After serving as a mission director, assistant pastor and associate pastor in the early years of his career, Dr. Johnson excelled as the mission director of Living Faith and chaplain at Westchester Medical Center. Today, he is a reverend at Voice of Hope Outreach Ministry Inc., as well as the chief executive officer and president of Nana & Co. Gas Oil LLC since 2015. Dr. Johnson attributes his vast success to a love and passion to help people, a compassion for the needy and a will to engage the human needs and human condition. Notably, he accepted a fellowship at Princeton University and authored “Compilations of Forums.” In five years’ time, Dr. Johnson aims to make a documentary on himself and publish his second book, “Love is Blind,” which is a love story between a white and Black person of how love is the only way to heal pain.
