Luis Sabroso, Executive Director and Chairman at Soga Park has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in business.
Backed by more than 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Sabroso commenced his career working for the Nissan Motor Corporation in Peru in 1983. Originally serving as a quality control department supervisor until 1987, he became the head of the customs warehouse and industrial security department in 1988. In 1990, he relocated to CREACIONES G&S in which he worked as a commercial manager for one year. At this point, Mr. Sabroso was afforded the opportunity to move to Tokyo, Japan, where he worked for Hinno Jidosha in the export and assembly departments between 1991 and 2001. Introduced to the amusement park industry, he became inspired to bring the industry back to the children of Peru. In addition to these roles, Mr. Sabroso has provided his skills and expertise for the government of Peru with the Ministry of Production, for the Entity, INACAL National Institute of Quality, and to Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in the Entity INDECOPI, Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property, and as a representative for the Peruvian Government at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council (ABAC).
For the past 20 years, Mr. Sabroso has lead Soga Park in Lima, Peru as general manager from 2001 to 2017 and executive director and chairman since 2017. Through his leadership, Soga Park was honorably named Company of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2011 until 2018, which he calls his most notable achievements. Furthermore, he has been recognized by the Latin American Quality Institute, the World Confederation of Business, the Worldwide Marketing Organization and the Dharma Foundation. Mr. Sabroso attributes his success to his dedication and honesty, along with the love and support from his family. To remain abreast of his industry, he currently maintains affiliation with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, National Center for Strategic Planning (CEPLAN) Science Technology and Innovation, the Faculty of Economic Engineering, Statistics and Social Sciences at the University of Engineering of Peru, (FIECS) and The Global Association for the Attractions Industry. Looking ahead, he hopes to spearhead a business in the United States. Mr. Sabroso received a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and international business from Universidad Norbert Wiener in Peru in 2012 and completed coursework in strategic business administration at CENTRUM PUCP Graduate Business School in 2015.
