Suzanne Dinkes Newman, Co-Owner at Dott Communications, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in advertising.
Backed by more than 45 years of experience in the advertising industry, Ms. Newman has found vast success as the co-owner and principal of Dott Communications since 1997 and editor of the Chamber News since 1998. Renowned for helping numerous small-to-mid-sized companies achieve success in their markets, she has helped launch the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and expanded the Yonkers Riverfest into a major regional community celebration and cultural festival. Prior to her current position, Ms. Newman was the chief executive officer of R.S. Newman Associate from 1994 to 1998 and the art director of the Timer Barrier Express for five years until 1980. She also served TBE Advertising as chief executive officer and director of operations between 1975 and 1994, having gained earlier experience with Fairfax Advertising, BimBamBoom Magazine and Lincoln Center Art Programs in the early 1970s.
Ms. Newman graduated from the Cooper Union in 1971 and conducted further coursework at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Throughout the course of her career, she has been aligned with various community groups and councils, which led her to be named Woman of the Year by the Sisterhood Greenburgh Hebrew Center in 2010 and 2011. In addition, she has also accepted awards from the Youth Theatre Interaction, Girl Scouts of the United States, Westchester Small Business Council and Westchester County Chamber of Commerce. Presently, she maintains affiliation with the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce and the Council for Arts Westchester. To attest to her legacy, Ms. Newman is also listed in editions of Who’s Who In Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who in the Media and Communication, Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
