Terry Avtar Singh Johal, Field Chairman at World Financial Group, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in finance.
Mr. Johal distinguished himself as the owner of Page Security Services for 25 years, during which time he also served as the owner of Technology Liquidators in Canada from 1997 to 1999. He went on to work in corporate sales for IBM for two years before joining the World Financial Group in 2002, through which he has continued to serve as the senior executive vice chairman since 2002. Additionally, Mr. Johal became the co-founder of Execute 90 in 2018, subsequently publishing the book “Execute 90” in 2021. Looking toward the future, Mr. Johal’s goal is to create 100 millionaires.
During the second portion of his career, Mr. Johal was 49 years old and found difficulty in getting hired, so he began exploring alternative options. A friend of his introduced him to Transamerica, finding that the company provided all the education and training in finance he would need without overburdening himself financially. Therefore, Mr. Johal took advantage of the opportunity to learn the financial industry, which is now one of the largest industries in the world.
Notably, Mr. Johal was the recipient of the WFC Millionaire Convention of Champions Award from MGM Las Vegas in 2012. He credits his success on his commitment toward contributing to society at large, as he believes that when one serves others, the universe gives back tenfold. His ability to think outside the box and learn from mentors, in turn, provided him with a positive attitude that has availed itself to him well into the present. Currently, Mr. Johal holds membership with the U.S. Golf Association and AEGON. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, golfing, traveling, writing and mentoring others.
