Jocelyn K. White, Chief Executive Officer at Skinny Jo Enterprises Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the fields of television and entertainment.

Drawing on more than three decades of experience on television and in advertising, Ms. White achieved professional success as the owner of both Skinny Jo Enterprises and its affiliate organization, Jocelyn White Media, since 1992. Primarily specializing in the production of local and national television programs, she was likewise the creator and host of “Designing DFW”, a local home and garden program that aired on station KDAF, channel 33, in the area of Dallas, Texas. Initially titled as “Designing Texas,” the program exemplified the most beautiful and innovative aspects of living in the Lone Star State, and included interviews with architects, homeowners and realtors. Previously, Ms. White made history as the first weather woman in Dallas to appear on air as a weather forecaster on KDFW Channel 4 and, for her inimitable performance, earned the accolades of the American Meteorological Society.

Ms. White went on to serve as the news anchor and host of “Sunday Morning with Jocelyn White,” a weekly morning show that aired on KVIL-FM between 1988 and 1991, and later created several television programs, such as “Jocelyn’s Weekend,” “Texas Country Nights” and “Designing America,” a spinoff of “Designing Texas” that appeared on HDNet. Moreover, she earned distinction through the radio as well, working on the “Kidd Kraddick Morning Show” on KISS FM, and as the host of a daily health talk show on KGBS. For her exemplary performance in the arts and entertainment, Ms. White won several KATIE Awards, and received a Heartland Emmy Award in Radio and Television.

Tragically, Ms. White passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 68, having left an indelible mark on both the local media and her community.
