Abdul Rauf Mehrpore, Linguist at Acclaimed Technical Services, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in linguistics.

Mr. Mehrpore enjoyed journalism, where he was able to conduct interviews with several political figures. The whole career with the Voice of America was an accident, as he did not know they were recruiting at the time. He began his career in Kabul Afghanistan as a manager of the Anglo-Afghan trade center in 1976, remaining until 1978. He then found a job as a radio broadcaster for the Voice of America in 1981 and in 1985, he became an editor and broadcaster for the same company remaining until 2010. In 2011, he became a subject matter expert at SOCOM for a few months before joining ISAF as a media and communications expert and a senior communications adviser, remaining until 2012. Since 2012, he has been a Dari linguist for the International Business Service and since 2020 he has been a linguist at Acclaimed Technical Services.

To get to where he is, Mr. Mehrpore earned a Bachelor of Arts from American University Beirut in 1975. He then received a Master of Public Administration from the State University of New York at Albany in 1980. As a testament to his success, he has received a Fulbright Scholarship and a USA Scholarship. He is also listed in the 28th edition of Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, 12th edition of Who’s Who in the Media and Communication, 12th edition of Who’s Who in the World and multiple editions of Who’s Who in the East.
