Despite the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on the travel industry, she has continued to find great success in her field. The company was brought to fruition after industry professionals noticed many gray areas in travel, so she got together with others. The CEO/founder of the company asked Ms. Blyth to jump on board as her chief commercial officer because of her experience in owning her own public relations/marketing firm. Previously, Ms. Blyth was the director of business development and a senior program manager for Carlson Wagonlit Travel and vice president of the chapter of Presidents Council and of the Government Relation Committee of the Global Business Travel Association.
Looking towards the future, Ms. Blyth and the owner of Deal Captains aim to turn the company into a multi-million dollar business. Her vision is that Deal Captains paves the way for the new travel market, as they are continuously making changes to adapt to the new normal. They see themselves like Apple, where Apple was the need and everyone was trying to catch up. Their vision of the future is starting from the basement and working their way up in five years. Before embarking on her professional endeavors, Ms. Blyth earned a degree in communications from the University of Utah.
