Mr. McNulty is a master plumber and the owner of NuFlow St. Louis, a specialty plumbing company offering trenchless pipe lining and repair services to commercial and residential clients throughout the St. Louis area. Plumbing was Mr. McNulty’s family business, and he recognized his interest in the work while still a high school student. He started working in the field as an independent contractor after graduation, earning Master Plumber certification from the state governing body. Mr. McNulty opened his first business in 2010 when he became the owner of Dippel Plumbing. Throughout his career, Mr. McNulty has been dedicated to remaining on the cutting edge of new plumbing technologies, and he remains an active member of numerous professional associations including the Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors, National Association of Sewer Service Companies, and BOMA International.
In 2012, Mr. McNulty opened NuFlow St. Louis, where he supervises a crew of 12 in pipelining and trenchless pipe repair projects of all sizes. He continued to operate Dippel Plumbing until 2016 when he left the company to focus on his work with NuFlow. Mr. McNulty takes a hands-on approach to business leadership and continues to personally oversee job sites and daily operations in addition to handling financial functions and long-range planning.
In recognition of the impact Mr. McNulty has had on the area plumbing industry, he has been featured in Green Mechanical Magazine. He advises other tradespeople and potential business owners to prioritize customer service and timeliness, and that the plumbing industry has a wide range of available niches to specialize in. He attributes his success to his dedication to the work and his drive to keep learning and improving and hopes to grow the company to at least three times its current size within five years.
