Thomas Hodges, Technology Expert, Manager, Director, Business and Technology Consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Executives for dedication, achievements, and leadership in management.
Prior to working in his current role, Mr. Hodges garnered experience through decades of roles within the business and technology fields. Prior to working in his current consultancy roles, he worked as the senior vice president of Microtech, as a proposal manager for GRSI, as a principal with the Computer Sciences Corporation and as a manager with the Planning Research Corporation, among other roles. He was introduced to this line of work while working for OFERL earlier in his career. During this time, Mr. Hodges observed the importance of information technology and felt it was the path for him to take.
Mr. Hodges hails from a well-rounded background, which enabled him to lead, teach and provide insight into all aspects of the business. He first earned a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Virginia in 1965, where he subsequently received a Doctor of Medicine in psychology during the following year. Following this accomplishment, he received a Master of Business Administration in finance from American University, with honors, in 1976. In addition to his education, Mr. Hodges spent four years serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Hodges has been recognized on numerous occasions, such as receiving the Prestigious Six Sigma Black Belt in 2000. In a career suffused with highlights, he is also proud to have worked at Radio Liberty and completed a job for a company that was bidding for NOAH. They wrote the proposal for installing terrestrial processing platforms for the GO stationary weather satellites. In addition, Mr. Hodges is proud of the largest proposal he ever worked on, which was for FedEx and USPS to operate the national air cargo system; a $10 million deal.
